Oliver Wenzel is German and European Patent attorney and passionate about supporting clients in all aspects of technical IP rights.
He worked for several years with Bird & Bird LLP in Marc Wachenhausen’s team and was involved in various IP disputes.
He had earlier worked with KraussMaffei Group GmbH, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plant and machinery used in the production and processing of synthetics and rubber, where he was responsible for all IP rights matters relating to business unit reaction process technology, including IP portfolio management, identification of IP rights as well as obtaining and enforcing IP rights.
Oliver Wenzel’s technical background is mechanical engineering. His technical background is supported by long-term work for Knorr-Bremse AG, world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles, during his studies. He also worked several months for Knorr-Bremse Kft in Budapest, Hungary.
